You can export interpolated grids to ArcGis using the function writeAsciiGrid from the package MapTools.
Some data as infant mortality need to be calculated from a children dataset. If this dataset is not already available, you need to create it from the Women dataset. You should check on www.measuredhs.com for more details.
In some occasion, you need to prepare your data yourself (in a statistical software) before to do your analysis with R.
